19:34 where you are · Goje opens on Dinner

Open it before you're even hungry.

Goje asks what time it is, then quietly suggests what to cook — within the minutes you actually have. Plan a week, fill a basket, cook along with someone live, or find a table to share.

Goje's home screen at 19:34. The Dinner band is active: a steak-and-greens plate sits on the meal clock, with up to 60 minutes to cook, the weekly plan and shopping list below, and tonight's West African pick at a 98% match.

“The one you actually cook.”

19:34

The same six windows and time limits the app runs on, drawn to scale from 05:00 to 05:00. Tap a band to see what Goje leads with — the whole page takes on its colour, just as the app does.

The meal clock

It knows what time it is.

The home screen is a plate. The six bands make the ring, the hour rides the rim, and the dish in the middle changes as the day turns — so Goje opens on what suits now, capped to the minutes that band allows. Here is the same plate, two hours apart.

  • Six bands from breakfast to late night, each with its own limit — from 15 to 60 minutes
  • Tonight's pick comes first, matched to how you eat
  • Tap the ring to peek at another part of the day
Goje's meal clock at 19:34: the dinner band is lit on the ring, a steak with greens sits on the plate, the mascot wears a chef's hat, and the limit reads up to 60 minutes — the one you actually cook.
19:34 · Dinner — steak & greens, up to 60 min
Goje's meal clock at 21:38: the late-night band is lit, a noodle bowl with chopsticks sits on the plate, the mascot is dozing, and the limit reads up to 15 minutes — fifteen minutes, nothing heroic.

The kitchen loop

From plan to plate.

The four things Goje helps you do every week, in the order you do them — and then again next week.

  1. Goje's weekly plan: a 2,759 kcal-a-day target worked out from the Mifflin–St Jeor equation, a Build my week card respecting kosher, halal, vegan and no-crustaceans filters, and Monday and Tuesday filled with breakfast, lunch and dinner.
    Weekly plan · 2,759 kcal a day

    Plan the week

Twenty-one meals built around your diet, your allergens and your own calorie target — never the same dish twice.

  2. Goje's shopping list: 38 items to buy, grouped by aisle starting with produce, items used in more than one recipe marked as such, and a £103.30 estimated basket with a Send to Tesco button.
    38 to buy · £103.30 · Send to Tesco

    Shop it in a tap

The week becomes one list, grouped by aisle with repeats merged — then goes to your usual shop in a single tap.

  3. Goje's cook mode on step 4 of 5 of One-Pan Harissa Salmon and Orzo: one large instruction to simmer for 9 minutes, and a 9-minute timer ready to start.
    Step 4 of 5 · Timer · 9 min

    Cook it, hands-free

One big step at a time with the screen kept awake; any time a step names becomes a timer. Every recipe also suggests a side, a dessert and a drink.

  4. Goje's weekly recap card, My week in food: 3 of 7 days cooked at home, a 9-day streak, £33 saved versus takeaway, Levantine as the most-cooked cuisine and Jollof Rice most on the table, with a Share your week button.
    3 of 7 days · £33 vs takeaway

    Share your week

Every Sunday the week becomes one warm card — days cooked, your streak, and what you kept out of the takeaway app.

Live

Cook along, together.

Someone's always at the stove. The host pins each step and moves it on; you follow at your own pace, ask questions and cheer them on — a live format built for cooking, not just watching.

  • The current step stays pinned, with a progress bar
  • Add the ingredients to your list without leaving the stream
  • Send a gift when they nail it

New · a little AI

A quiet AI hand, not a chatbot.

Small helpers that do real work instead of making conversation. They read what Goje already knows — the time, your diet, your basket — and act. Everything stays a suggestion; you tap to accept.

  • Plan my day

Drafts breakfast, lunch and dinner from recipes that already fit your diet and calorie target — one tap adds them to the plan.

    Home
  • Basket review

Scans your list for own-brand swaps, duplicates to merge and a staple you're missing.

    Shopping list
  • Cook-along answers

Mid-cook, ask “what can I use instead?” and get a calm, one-line answer for the step you're on.

    Cook mode
  • Invite drafts

Writes a warm, low-pressure “let's cook” note — you always press send yourself.

  • Recap captions

Turns your week's numbers into a caption worth posting with the Sunday card.

  • Recipe drafter

Describe a dish in a line; Goje writes it up with tags, ingredients and method.

Runs on a fast language model with your own data as the guardrail: an agent can only choose recipes that already suit your diet and allergies, and nothing is sent, added or bought without your tap.

The little things

Small, on purpose.

  • Diets & allergies

Set them once. The clock, the planner, Explore and the AI only ever suggest what fits.

  • Gentle streaks

“Cooked something today?” One tap keeps the streak — and the mascot — happy.

  • A daily challenge

Cook the day's challenge, post the pan, earn XP toward your next level.

  • Search everything

Recipes, cooks, events and collections, all from one bar.

  • A nudge, not a nag

Plan a week and Goje offers one gentle reminder, Sunday at 09:00. Never more.

  • A mascot with moods

It brings a coffee mid-morning, wears a chef's hat at dinner, and dozes off late at night.
